measuring tips Rise:
Rise is where the pant waist sits on the body.
The "low hip" is the circumference around the fullest part of the hip.
To measure, stand with your feet together and measure the widest part of your hips. The tape should fit snugly around your body but not too tightly.
The "inseam" is the distance from the top of the inner thigh to the pant hem.
Standing barefoot, measure the distance from the top of your inner thigh, along the inside of your leg, to the floor. You want to ensure that your inseam is not too short, nor too long.
You could also take a pant that fits you well, lay it on a flat surface and measure the inside seam of the leg.
